Expanding Access to AI Skills for Africa’s Future

Africa is home to the world’s youngest population, offering significant potential for growth provided that they are equipped with the skills, support and access needed to realise their full potential. However, the continent continues to lag significantly behind in access to Artificial Intelligence skills. As a result, many students are unable to use AI effectively and responsibly to enhance their studies. At the same time, the lack of foundational AI skills places graduates at a disadvantage in an increasingly digital and AI-driven labour market.

Sponsorship goes beyond supporting individual students by enabling investment in free learning resources and training that benefit students across Africa who would otherwise lack access.
